Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Video Claw, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Service
Video Claw is a product designed to help users search transcripts, locate exact moments in long videos, and continue learning with AI-assisted follow-up questions. We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.
User Responsibilities
When using Video Claw, you agree to:
- use the service lawfully
- provide accurate information if you create an account
- avoid interfering with the security, performance, or availability of the service
- avoid uploading or submitting content you do not have the right to use
Content and Intellectual Property
Video Claw and its underlying software, branding, design, and related materials are owned by Video Claw or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain rights to content you lawfully submit or create through the service, but you grant us the limited rights needed to operate, maintain, and improve Video Claw.
Availability and Changes
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features, limits, and product scope may change over time, including changes to AI-assisted functionality, search behavior, or supported workflows.
Subscription Plans and Credits
Video Claw offers subscription-based plans. Each plan grants a fixed number of credits per billing cycle. Key terms:
- Credit allocation: Credits are issued at the start of each billing cycle based on your active plan.
- Credit expiration: Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and are reset to zero. Credits do not roll over to the next cycle.
- Credit consumption: Different actions consume different amounts of credits. Video analysis costs 2 credits per video (previously analyzed videos are free to revisit). AI chat costs vary by model — see the pricing page for current rates. Subtitle translation is free.
- Free plan: Free accounts receive a one-time allocation of 5 credits. Once used, no additional credits are provided unless you subscribe to a paid plan.
- Plan changes: If you upgrade or downgrade your plan, the new credit allocation takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Unused credits from the previous plan are not transferred.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing cycle.
- Price changes: We reserve the right to adjust pricing and credit allocations. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 14 days before any price change takes effect.
Third-Party Services
Video Claw may rely on third-party providers, including infrastructure, analytics, or AI services. We are not responsible for outages or issues caused by third-party platforms outside our reasonable control.
Disclaimer
Video Claw is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that outputs will always be complete, error-free, or suitable for every use case. Users should verify important information against the original video source.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Video Claw will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service or inability to use it.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Video Claw if we believe a user violates these Terms, harms the service, or creates legal or security risk.
Governing Terms
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of Video Claw after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
